Tai Chi (Taijiquan)

Tai Chi is a centuries-old internal Chinese martial art that combines deep breathing and meditation with slow, gentle, and graceful movements. Tai Chi has been proven to enhance health, relaxation, and self-cultivation and is practiced by millions worldwide. Tai Chi may be adapted to suit nearly anyone, regardless of physical condition. It has a reputation for alleviating many ailments, such as hypertension, gastric problems, arthritis, heart disease, and anemia. It improves circulation and balance, and helps to relax and strengthen the nervous system. The stretching movements make the body limber, tone up muscles, and help release tension.

Chi Kung (Qigong)
Chi Kung is an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques, and focuses attention. Chi Kung is practiced for good health maintenance, healing, and vitality. The gentle, rhythmic movements of Chi Kung reduce stress, build stamina, increase vitality, and enhance the immune system. It has also been found to improve cardiovascular, respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic and digestive functions. Those who consistently practice Chi Kung find that it helps them regain a youthful vigor, maintain good physical and mental health even into old age, and facilitate recovery from illness.
